With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Carmina Gal joins the Swiss educational group winsedswiss (World Institute of Service Education), taking over as director of the winsedswiss Romania Hospitality Department.
“I am delighted by the arrival of Carmina in the winsedswiss family. She has an impressive experience in hotel management and I am convinced that she will lead our hospitality department successfully to the next level of excellence, being a key director in our team,” says Christine Schillings, Chief Executive Officer of winsedswisss Romania.
“I am honoured to join the winsedswiss group, on this road where two interdependent areas, education and hospitality, have met. It is a new challenge for me, which I set out to turn into a beautiful and successful story, alongside experts gathered by the passion for services,” says Carmina Gal, the new director of the winsedswiss Romania Hospitality Department.
The Swiss group of vertically-integrated institutions aims to educate the workforce and offer educational and business solutions, in order to provide quality services in all areas involved directly with customers, i.e. where the customer’s experience is at least as important as the product received. The development plans of Winsedswiss Education Group include managing hotels as "Hotel Ecole", as well as providing hotel management of premium locations, boutique hotels, including luxury apartments with integrated concierge services. In these will work both students and graduates of the ohma Academy of Hospitality Management, who will thus have the opportunity to practice the theory learnt, to improve themselves, in order to excel subsequently in their career.
Carmina Gal began her work in hospitality over two decades ago. In 2005, she took over as director of sales and marketing of the Ana Hotels Group, and five years later she had became the general manager of the three hotels of the group in Poiana Brașov. From this position, she coordinated the renovation of Hotel Sport in the resort, a project that included the construction of a building dedicated to the spa and wellness area. Also, during Carmina Gal’s term, Hotel Bradul in Poiana Brașov was completely renovated.
The first generation of students who, upon graduating, will obtain professional diplomas recognised world-wide, has begun courses in Oradea within the Hospitality Management Academy ohma by winsedswiss, the only school in Romania operating under the license of École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the most prestigious learning institution in hospitality in the world.
