Starting from July, Didactica Foundation and the Romanian-Finnish Primary School/ERI Sibiu join the winsedswiss education group (World Institute of Service Education), within a development partnership.
The collaboration of the two entities opens, for both parties, new perspectives of consolidation: knowledge, access to an international network of professionals and experts in education, inclusion in a complete educational path and in integrated career services, as well as the chance to expand the Sibiu's school expertise to other cities in Romania and abroad, through the group's educational institutions.
Moreover, the partnership aims to develop a network of ERI schools ("different") that allow the exchange of good practices, to encourage modern teaching approaches, meaningfully, using resources from other centers, under the auspices of quality education and educational values in accordance with current times.
Thus, the group intends to open other forms of education in the Sibiu area and to expand the existing ones, the first step being a new ERI kindergarten, in the Arhitecților neighborhood, a project that will be duplicated in other counties throughout Romania.
Starting from the Romanian curriculum, ERI schools implement Finnish philosophy and teaching methods, in experiential learning contexts, adapted to children's needs and focused on the strengths of each student.
"The Romanian-Finnish Primary School has grown in four years from 17 children to over 170, so our need for development is much greater. Therefore, the time has come to join forces with partners alongside which we can grow. We aim to provide the necessary resources for both students and teachers, to have the best and most appropriate training programs, to access high-performance online platforms, educational software and offline materials that allow us to achieve the educational process we want," says Elena Lotrean, co-founder of the Romanian-Finnish Primary School in Sibiu.
"At the level of pre-university education, winsedswiss aims to open kindergartens, schools and high schools, which will operate on the established principles of constructivist education, capitalizing on the innate qualities of young people and reducing educational deficiencies. Our learning spaces are places that form the autonomous young people of tomorrow's society: creative, proactive, successful-oriented and self-confident adults. Our mission does not end with the completion of a winsedswiss program. The promise to accompany our graduates throughout their careers is what sets us apart. So, the partnership with some of the most famous educational institutions, as in this case, is a culmination of our mission and a certainty that professionalism will leave its mark on what we want to build together," says Professor Ray. F. Iunius, Chief Executive Officer of Winsedswiss Education Group.
Didactica Foundation
The Didactica Sibiu Foundation was founded in 1999 at the initiative of five teachers with love for children and their future. They wanted an applied school for students and the opportunity to educate them differently, practically, in line with the needs of the labor market. In 2016, their dream came true through the SFSB Romanian-Finnish Primary School project. The school offers quality education, by adapting the Finnish model to the Romanian realities.
